Senior Project Manager, Payroll Transformation

Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead end-to-end payroll outsourcing projects, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and budget oversight.

• Client Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between payroll outsourcing teams and internal teams, understanding internal payroll outsourcing needs, and ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and support throughout the engagement. Maintain strong client-vendor relationships, address any concerns or queries promptly, and provide guidance on best practices for payroll outsourcing processes.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate payroll processes and systems, identifying areas for enhancement, automation, and standardization to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

• Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislations, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve payroll-related issues, collaborating with internal teams and clients to implement effective solutions.

• Vendor Management: Collaborate with payroll service providers, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring service level agreements are met.

• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures, including audits and reviews, to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of payroll data and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in payroll outsourcing or a similar role.

• Proven experience in running Payroll Outsourcing RFP process.

• In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, and labor legislations.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

• Proficiency in payroll software and related tools.

• Professional certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
