Responsibilities
- Responsible for solving complex problems within their discipline, leading smaller projects, and providing informal guidance to colleagues.
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, especially related to application development and cloud migration efforts.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) if the project methodology is Agile.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably managing application development or system migration projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage diverse project teams.
Nice to Have Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master) or proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or equivalent.
