Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Project Manager  to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will lead the successful delivery of large-scale interior fit-out projects from concept through completion, representing our organization with excellence and integrity. You will drive strategic stakeholder engagement, manage complex project governance, and oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results for our most valued clients.   • Lead the delivery of multiple complex fit-out projects and programs, ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives and organizational priorities while maintaining transparency and accountability throughout all project phases
  • Oversee all stages of project development, including feasibility analysis, design coordination, procurement management, delivery execution, and final handover, with meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Serve as the primary client-facing leader, acting as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term relationships, and demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills to manage expectations and drive client satisfaction
  • Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks, including comprehensive cost management, scheduling optimization, risk and issue identification and mitigation, and quality control protocols
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams, including quantity surveyors, MEP specialists, architects, sustainability consultants, and contractors, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Make informed, proactive decisions with minimal supervision, demonstrating resilience and decisiveness while escalating strategic matters appropriately and maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders
  • Ensure all project works adhere strictly to budgets, timelines, health and safety requirements, local regulations, and client expectations, with particular attention to Middle Eastern construction standards and compliance
  • Manage and maintain accurate, organized project documentation in both digital and physical formats, ensuring accessibility and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Provide high-level direction, coaching, and professional development to junior project managers and project support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Analyze project performance metrics, identify opportunities for process optimization, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and project outcomes

Qualifications

 

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in fit-out or construction project management, with a strong track record of successfully leading complex, high-value projects from inception to completion
  • Professional experience from either a consultancy or client-side organization, with the ability to lead, advise on, and manage construction delivery across multiple stakeholder environments
  • Strong expertise in pre- and post-contract project management across the full RIBA lifecycle, with comprehensive understanding of project phases and deliverables
  • Proven ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders at senior levels, demonstrating exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Solid knowledge and practical experience with JCT and/or NEC contract administration, with the ability to interpret and apply contractual terms effectively
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain composure in dynamic environments
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining accurate project documentation in both digital and physical formats, ensuring compliance and accessibility
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern construction standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire this knowledge

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Professional qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (Master's degree highly desirable)
  • Chartered professional status with RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or similar recognized professional body
  • Affiliation with the Association for Project Management (APM) or equivalent professional organization
  • Certification or demonstrated experience in Prince2, MSP, or similar project and program management methodologies
  • Experience delivering projects in international or multicultural environments, particularly in the Middle East region
  • Background in commercial fit-out delivery with knowledge of interior design coordination and specialized fit-out requirements
  • Experience in risk management, quality assurance, and sustainability integration within construction projects
