We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a Financial Crime Programme, a strategic initiative focused on enhancing financial crime detection through improved data, intelligence and technology capabilities.
The programme comprises multiple projects and workstreams delivering significant business and technology change. The successful candidate will provide dedicated leadership and delivery management, ensuring projects are effectively planned, governed and delivered to achieve agreed outcomes and benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, delivery and governance of projects across the Programme.
- Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Coordinate stakeholders across business, technology, security, procurement and external suppliers.
- Act as a key link between business teams, technology, suppliers and programme leadership.
- Produce high-quality programme reporting, governance materials and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Drive delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets and benefits.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
- Support effective programme governance, decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure projects follow appropriate governance, risk and change-management processes.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic Financial Crime objectives and measurable programme benefits.
RequirementsAbout You
We are looking for a confident and delivery-focused Project Manager with experience managing complex business and technology change programmes.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience delivering complex projects within a large or regulated organisation.
- Strong project planning, governance and delivery management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, RAID, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technology functions.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with experience producing materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
- A structured, proactive approach to identifying and resolving delivery challenges.
- Experience in financial crime, financial services, data, technology or related transformation environments would be highly advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in a strategically important programme, helping to strengthen financial crime detection capabilities through improved data, intelligence and technology.

This is a 12 month contract
Paying £625 per day - Inside IR35
Location: Hybrid London - 50% onsite /50% remote
