Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing transformation projects within the foreseen targets. Your scope of activities will cover the rollout of PLM and CAD projects, particularly with Contact Database and SolidWorks.

  • You take on the planning, management, and control of cross-departmental engineering DT projects, especially for PLM and CAD rollouts.
  • You are responsible for the professional leadership of highly motivated project teams and cross-location collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • You gather requirements from business units, structure them, and develop professional solution approaches.
  • You plan, lead, and coordinate internal and external project resources.
  • You oversee projects from initiation to successful implementation with business units, actively managing project risks and changes (budget, scope, timeline).
  • You are responsible for progress tracking and ensuring compliance with time, budget, and scope objectives within project controlling.

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field and ideally hold a certification in project management.
  • You have relevant professional experience in DT project management and extensive experience as a project manager in multiple engineering-related projects, with responsibility for their planning, execution, and implementation.
  • You have experience with PLM and CAD systems; experience with Contact Database and SolidWorks is a plus.
  • You possess strong process-oriented, conceptual, and analytical thinking skills.
  • You demonstrate a high level of initiative (hands-on mentality) and a highly structured as well as goal-oriented working style.
  • You possess strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills and practice them across DT, business units, third-party vendors, and system integrators. 
  • You are experienced with organizational change management and adoption strategies to ensure end-user buy-in and successful go-live.
  • You are a clear and effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to manage senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.

In this position, you will be employed by Syntegon Telstar, but you will primarily be working with the Syntegon group.
