Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager - Design to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee complex design projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. As a key member of our organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive innovation in our design processes.

  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for large-scale design initiatives
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and deliverables
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development to final implementation
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in design processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on design-related projects
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex design initiatives
  • Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
  • Proficient in project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation
  • Solid understanding of design principles, processes, and current trends
  • Knowledge of user-centered design approaches
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Additional design-related certifications (e.g., UX/UI certifications) are a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by project needs
