The Clinical Effectiveness department works with organizations within Providence Health Care (PHC) to assist in identifying innovative ways to further serve our patients, caregivers, core leaders and providers in a consistent manner. The Clinical Effectiveness department leads and/or facilitates the transformational processes of reducing costs, and improving quality in our continual goal of improving the total cost of healthcare.
The Clinical Effectiveness department reflects the key moral commitment, ethical principles, values and philosophy of PHC. Serving as a central resource for PHC Administration, Physicians, Core Leaders and Caregivers regarding processes, and champions the efforts at all levels without taking on responsibilities for managing their assigned work processes.
The Senior Project Manager position reports to the Director of Clinical Effectiveness, and will provide strategic project management, analysis and strategic decision-making support for Providence Medical Group. This position will establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff at all levels. This position will provide project management to the PHC service area, composed of providers, clinical and administrative subject matter experts focusing on improving clinical quality, patient experience, and decreasing the total cost of care. Including, clinical excellence, clinical standardization, patient safety, comparative effectiveness and clinical advancement.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, or clinical field or equivalent education/experience
- 3 years of years of experience in project management, healthcare administration, or clinical field –or- equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of proven track record in managing multiple complex high profile projects simultaneously and driving towards successful results.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business
- Certification in process optimization (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, CQIA, or other nationally recognized certification) upon hire
- 2 years of health care experience in an operational area
