Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally qualified Senior Civil Engineer to serve as Design Liaison and Project Manager. The selected professional will be responsible for coordinating critical design reviews by a multi-disciplined team of engineers and ensuring strict compliance with NJ Turnpike and NJDOT design criteria and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as the primary liaison between the client, design teams, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
  • Oversee and manage all phases of the highway project from initial design conception through final construction, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Rigorously coordinate design reviews and ensure all designs meticulously adhere to NJ Turnpike standards.
  • Provide authoritative leadership to a multi-disciplined team of engineers, offering expert guidance and support to maintain project integrity.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and documentation with utmost precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS plus eight years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highway projects.
  • Experience with NJ Turnpike and NJDOT projects.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
