Senior Project Manager – Brand
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Change and Transformation team at Mercer. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Portfolio Team manages the delivery of significant change initiatives across the Mercer Super business. In this role, you will support marketing and re-brand programmes in a highly regulated environment, with accountability for end-to-end project planning, delivery and stakeholder coordination
The immediate focus will be leading the project management of a large-scale rebrand project for Mercer Super.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract
We will count on you to:
- Lead the scoping, planning, scheduling and delivery of projects in line with Mercer Super’s project management methodology
- Set up project governance, prepare project charters, stakeholder plans, resource plans, budgets and integrated project schedules
- Manage project execution, including change control, quality, issue and risk management, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Facilitate workshops, steering meetings and working groups, and keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks and resource pressures
- Support project closure activities, including formal handover, post-project reviews, archiving and team performance input
- Coach project team members and help maintain momentum, accountability and delivery focus across multiple workstreams
What you need to have:
- Demonstrated project management experience, or experience as a business or administration analyst on client projects or fund implementation work
- Experience working in the superannuation industry, with insurance or banking experience also considered
- Well-developed planning, stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills
- A practical understanding of project delivery tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Project
