Responsibilities / Tasks
1. Project Management – Automation ProjectsManage automation projects, regular projects, and service projects across SEA and wider APAC.
Ensure project automation compliance with: Customer specifications Functional analysis GEA norms Automation standards
Act as Line Manager for Automation Engineers and Lead Automation Engineers.
Supervise, evaluate, and mentor team members to support their growth within GEA.
Provide guidance and support to project teams, including on-site involvement when required.
Ensure correct application of GEA methodologies and internal rules.
Perform project estimations for sales and after-sales.
Support Sales Management teams in defining automation scopes and solutions.
Travel for sales and project support as needed.
Organize and initiate automation project implementation within allocated budget.
Seek opportunities for budget optimization while maintaining quality and timelines.
Evaluate and continuously monitor risks throughout projects and quotations.
Primary project responsibility within SEA, with extension to APAC when required.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering or relevant Engineering Background
- Professional Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Automation and/or Electrical engineering.
- Strong background in project execution, technical implementation, and end‑to‑end project management.
- Solid understanding of hygienic design principles applicable to industrial environments.
- Knowledge of QHSE standards within relevant industries.
- High level of technical awareness across automation, engineering systems, and industrial processes.
Project Management Skills
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring, and managing cross‑functional groups.
- Competence in project management fundamentals, including:
- Schedule Management
- Cost Management
- Time Management
Tools & Systems
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Internet tools and Microsoft Office applications.
Language Skills
- English: Professional Working Proficiency, both written and verbal.
