We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support complex, cross-functional delivery of products and services globally by providing people, process and tools that enable on-time project delivery. In this role, you will be hands on to help teams plan, direct and monitor projects from initiation through delivery. You will organize cross-functional activities to ensure the completion of the project on schedule and within the constraints of quality, schedule and features with tight and overlapping timelines.

Job Description
- Lead multiple projects at a time, from inception through completion and post launch as needed, providing feasibility and risk analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
- Forecast project outcomes and drive executive trade-off decisions 3 to 9 months in advance through understanding and assessment of critical paths and dependencies for delivering applications and services in a B2B2C environment.

Work with Business Operations to ensure business requirements are understood and to break down product and technical requirements to understand project dependencies.

Coordinate sequencing of projects to establish key milestones within an Agile development environment and drive progress to accomplish milestones on time and with quality.

Aggregate, organize, and synthesize project information to communicate with the extended stakeholder team and management.

Communicate status, issues and risk across key stakeholder groups; always monitoring project health and assessing the needs of the team.

Prepare and presents project milestone reviews to upper-level management with input from project teams

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in preparation for the release of new features, products,or service launches, including overall test planning and execution management.

Manage projects and technical implementations as necessary for APAC by defining and tracking project milestones, deliverables and dependencies. Plan engineering and QA resources for projects for assigned and/or matrixed delivery teams. Measure the planned versus actual team week capacity consumed for each project.

Cultivate and drive a culture of innovation and effective problem-solving. Modify existing project management practices and templates to meet teams' needs for tracking progress.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Work directly with clients to ensure the project status and the deliverables are aligned with their needs.

Be a trusted advisor to internal and external business partners/stakeholders
Qualifications
-
Strong project management skills: 8+ years proven experience managing complex projects to successful completion including the ability to navigate complex global environments and work with interdisciplinary teams to effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to senior management.

Japanese (native proficiency) and English (business proficiency)

Demonstrated wide-ranging interdisciplinary experiences of having used professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Experience with analysis of situations or data where an in-depth evaluation of variable factors is required.

Demonstrated understanding of the impact and dependency of other related disciplines. Continuous improvement minded individual that has driven measurable improvement in processes and procedures.

Effectively builds consensus and resolves complex issues wtihin the project team. Proven ability to work in a matrix-style organizational structure to motivate and influence others

Ability to think strategically and deep dive into the details to solve complex issues and keep teams moving forward. Ability to leverage detail-oriented analysis to drive project decisions.

Able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities and deadlines.
