Senior Project Manager - Aftermarket solution

LOCATION: Monroe, NC, USA

DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. Director Customer success, and After market

FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: N/A

POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Project Manager for aftermarket solution is responsible for thinking out of the box and building aftermarket strategic solutions on pricing, and installed base mapping, meanwhile, implementing After-market growth initiatives, and making strategic planning on product life cycle revenue stream. In this role, the project manager will deploy, coordinate, and monitor the complete set of resources required to complete/deliver each initiative within defined scope, time, and profit parameters.

Principal Activities

  • Data analytic skills of finding and proposing the potential aftermarket growth areas.
  • Map out the installed base and build the dashboards through power BI.
  • Analyze parts availabilities and inventory turns based on repetitive and expensive parts, recommend, and optimize the inventory turns.
  • Execute all the growth initiatives in a timely manner by coordinating with functional team.
  • Track the key performance of booking, sales, gross margin and on time delivery of aftermarket business.
  • Responsible for assisting management in the development of marketing information, or marketing programs to accomplish strategic objectives for After-market business.
  • Build and implement pricing strategy based on customer's dependence and market competitions.
  • Forecast, meet, and exceed targeted aftermarket sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with local sales team to develop a cohesive aftermarket attack plan customized to the specific territory.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.

Job Requirements:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Aftermarket experience required
  • Project management skills are preferrable, including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple efforts.
  • Solid analytical skills and solution-driven, strategic thinking
  • Ability to communicate effectively across the functional team, and situations.
  • Experience projecting, monitoring, and managing resources.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with customer and industry-specific requirements/standards across the product life cycle.
  • Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, power BI and other applicable tools.
  • Because the Project Manager does not have line authority over other functional areas, success in achieving individual performance goals is largely driven by his/her product knowledge, business partnering skills, and overall ability to influence others.

Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Sales and Marketing, Engineering or other related areas. MBA preferred.
  • Above 8 years of progressive product, project and/or program management experience in Industrial or related market space.
