We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Team Leader to manage engineering projects and team members supporting Marmon Medical Group companies from GIC India.In this role, you will be accountable for the delivery of projects from GIC as per business priorities – as senior system integrator, responsible for designs which are compliant with Medical standards and regulatory requirements – within budget, timelines and quality. You will drive collaboration with global cross-functional teams, leverage technical strategy and best practices, and lead the successful execution of projects. In this role, you will further develop technical subject-matter expertise while contributing significantly to medical group’s growth and innovation. Further as a team leader, you will be responsible for people management, development and their annual performance reviews. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing strategies, shaping team culture, enhancing processes, and delivering engineering solutions that create tangible value for Marmon’s Medical businesses and global customers.
Lead dedicated engineering teams, with diverse skillsets like including mechanical, electrical, embedded systems, software and production, supporting Marmon Medical companies, managing projects across New Product Development, Continuous Engineering, Value Analysis & Value Engineering, Software development and testing.
Collaborate with department leaders to shape corporate and technical strategies.
Plan, schedule, and oversee delivery of core and derivative programs, ensuring design quality, cost, and timeline objectives are achieved.
Provide technical leadership and guidance during defining engineering scope, concept development, detailed design, testing, validation, and release of complex medical products.
Facilitate structured product development and manufacturing processes, including Development, Design Reviews, Validation and Verification, Production planning and Process Capability studies.
Develop and approve advanced testing protocols, methods and engineering change requests. Participate in technical review boards and influence product directions.
Lead 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Review and approve engineering deliverables and specifications, ensuring alignment with required medical standards and customer expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Mechanical, Simulation, Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing — to resolve challenges and optimize product performance.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, product standardization, and design optimization through continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with global sourcing and supplier collaboration, particularly in product design and manufacturing transitions.
Curious of advancements in medical technologies, trends competitor landscape, and introduce relevant best practices.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Support global engineering coordination by aligning project priorities, sharing knowledge, and maintaining strong communication with U.S. and international partners.
