Senior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assigned projects. Each day, you will ensure that engineering activities are executed efficiently and in a cost-effective manner. You will also demonstrate your technical skills by providing technical support for commissioning and start-up activities.

This role contributes to the Automation in the Energy Division, specifically in Power Management Systems. Main stakeholders include customers (Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical clients), EPC contractors, project managers, commissioning teams, internal engineering teams, third-party vendors, and service teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Acting as a role model in applying design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts in projects, including modeling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Serving as a specialist in the application of advanced engineering concepts and methods.
Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (5–25 members) across engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) for medium-complexity projects.
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to resolve technical issues and correct engineering deviations.
Qualifications for the role
You are deeply experienced in the engineering and commissioning of Electrical Power Management Systems within the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industry.
You bring 8–10 years of experience in engineering, commissioning, and advanced technical support, with demonstrated capability to lead technical initiatives as an individual contributor.
You possess extensive knowledge of CILMS, EDMS, ECS, IEC 61850, SAS, Load Shedding, Load Sharing, Power Quality (PQ) Control, Synchronization, ABB Control Builder, GOOSE, PCM600, IET600, IEDs, MFMs, and communication protocols such as Modbus, IEC 103, and Profibus.
As a technical lead individual contributor, you provide technical direction, handle complex problem-solving, ensure high-quality deliverables, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You are highly motivated by customer service and problem-solving, with a clear focus on delivering timely, high-quality solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, supported by practical experience in Electrical Power Management Systems.
You are proficient in communication in English and widely used Indian languages.
