Responsibilities
Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage, hybrid) for financing purposes
- Fulfilling obligations arising from loan agreements (calculating indicators, coordinating the process of submitting documents required by banks)
- Perform sensitivity, scenario, and risk analyses
- Prepare valuation models, IRR calculations, cash flow forecasts, and capital structure analyses
- Support due diligence processes in cooperation with technical, legal, tax, and commercial teams
Project Support & Transaction Execution
- Prepare investment materials and presentations for internal committees and senior management
- Support financing processes, including cooperation with banks, lenders, and advisors
- Participate in the review of project contracts (PPA, EPC, O&M, TSA) from a financial and risk perspective
- Monitor project performance and update financial models
Market & Business Analysis
- Analyse market trends, regulatory frameworks, and financial benchmarks in the renewable energy sector
- Analyse key financial drivers (CAPEX, OPEX, pricing, inflation, FX, interest rates)
- Benchmark projects and maintain internal databases of comparable transactions
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Cooperate with engineering, development, legal, and asset management, finance, tax teams to validate assumptions
- Support senior team members by delivering analytical work
- Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Education
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Management
Experience & Knowledge
- 2–3 years of experience in financing investment projects (preferably in project finance formula) in e.g. bank, renewable energy company, or Big4 advisory
Skills
- Fluent English
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- Strong organization, communication and relationship (with internal and external partners) management skills
- Strong analytical skills
