Project Setup:
PE is responsible to organize the technical setup of the project
● Preparation of Technical Document Management plan for the project
● Working together with scheduler and related discipline engineer to baseline master project schedule
● Project Documentation Management setup ( ALAIR, SAP technical setup, documentation numbering system, etc)
● Preparation of Project Design Validation in Plan and implementing the same in execution with due approval of the overall design authority
● Setup of MOC tool to capture the changes during execution phase
Internal engineering coordination:
● Ensure Project Design Basis and GDSR compliance list is followed
● Site information / site datasheet is aligned with all stakeholders and finalized
● Follow-up engineering progress and manage deviation with support of scheduler & project manager
● Organize/attend/support project design review Meeting, follow up MOM status, meeting action follow up and close out.
● Follow up the changes on P&IDs after freeze review (before freeze review, PID/System Engineer is in charge of follow-up).
● Ensure implementation of Governance Check and capture the technical HOLDs in Engineering , HOLDs register
● Ensure capturing the changes during execution phase in MOC tool
● Follow up any change (engineering / customer / vendor) and propose resolution of solution with related lead engineer/DA and make sure the change is closed properly
● Participate in Hazop meeting and close the action points with the help of Engineering disciplines
● Provide technical support to PM for external change orders
● Coordinating with discipline Leads , Design Authorities and Overall Design Authority for timely closure of the PDVP
● Coordinating for As Built documentation
● Prepare engineering close out and associated actions list
Technical interface with customer:
● Organize, conduct necessary technical review meeting with customer
● As the interface with the customer, leading the technical clarification with the customer, track all technical requirements and questions between E&C and customer.
● Make sure the technical input/output documents exchanges between E&C & customers follows contract requirements
● Tracking of client deliverable status and reporting to the management
● Obtain the necessary inputs from clients required for engineering completion in a timely manner
Engineering outsourcing Coordination:
● Coordinate internally with respective disciplines in order to certify the work completion against invoices raised by the engineering subcontractor
● Organizing Kickoff meeting with engineering subcontractor and Air Liquide discipline leads
● Conducting weekly review meetings with engineering subcontractors through telecon/ webex/ hangout.
● Responsible to manage and settle technical change order claims with engineering subcontractor with close coordination of Project Manager
● Capitalization with the engineering subcontractor
Education: Bachelor degree or above in engineering
Discipline: Any engineering degrees
Work Experience: Working experience in the related fields of engineering,
designing, project engineering management, site engineering
management; in EPC or Detail design engineering companies
