What’s on offer?

Fulton Hogan is looking for an experienced engineer undertake a role in Estimating in the Civils and Manufacturing  team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of local experience working in the Civil industry, predominately in civil and road construction. This role would suit Project Engineers or Senior Project Engineers looking to make a change to a more office based role. Estimating experience not necessary however would be considered favourable.

Based in any of our offices based in Dapto, Campbelltown or Thornton you will be working closely with our project teams to drive the overall estimating process for project bids across NSW. Additionally, you will assist in developing and maintaining our customer relationships, both existing & potential. You will also be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating and leading the estimating process to maximise success;
  • Contributing to tender design development and providing feedback as to the commercial viability of design solutions;
  • Analysing and commenting on proposed commercial terms of projects;
  • Reviewing schedules, cost estimates and submission documentation;

To be successful is this role you will have strong communication with excellent stakeholder management abilities. With experience in a similar role you will have the technical skills to inspire confidence from Senior Managers and clients. You will have the ability to synthesise complex data into logical information that is readily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.
