We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer to lead and drive the successful delivery of large-scale water and wastewater treatment projects across industries. In this role, you will oversee project execution from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects: desalination plants, sewage treatment plant, industrial water and wastewater treatment plant.
- Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied. Coordinating, monitoring and controlling of sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Manage project schedules, forecasting and customer relationship.
- Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project engineering work; Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables. Review reports, set up reporting arrangement to track progress.
- Manage project status reports and change orders on client facing activities.
- Organize and prepare technical submittals and for client evaluation
- Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes (ANSI, ASME, IEC, IET & etc) accepted engineering practices.
- Coordinate with service provider for project isometric and drawing mark-up
- Accountable for the successful completion of projects management and engineering.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.
- Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process.
- Oversee the projects activities and assigned work responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Min bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical/Environmental)
- Min 8+ years of project management experience and project coordination role within an engineering consultancy, main contractor or developer
- Certification as a project management professional (PMP), Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer would be an advantage
- Experience of preparing technical and isometric drawings
- Experience in managing large scale of environmental projects ie water treatment plant
- Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills
- Good project and time management skills, and strong analytical skills
- Team player and able to work independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeline.
