PMA is currently seeking a Senior Project Controls Scheduler for an exclusive assignment on-site at our client's facility in the greater Indianapolis area. In this role, you will lead all aspects of scheduling and schedule control for a large construction project. The project schedule will be highly detailed and will likely be cost- and resource-loaded. 

 

This is an on-site position. We are seeking candidates who are local to the Indianapolis, Indiana area. 

Responsibilities

    • Lead the development, maintenance, and status updates of project schedules using Primavera P6.   

    • Track progress against baseline schedules, identify critical paths, and analyze variances, delays, and impacts.  

    • Conduct what-if analysis, time impact studies, and recovery plan evaluations.  

    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction professionals to gather schedule data and status updates.  

    • Perform routine site walks to validate project progress and ensure schedule accuracy.   

    • Develop and present schedule status reports and dashboards.   

    • Other duties as assigned.  

Position Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field required.   

    • Minimum 7 years of related scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6.   

    • Experience on large construction projects is strongly preferred.  

    • PMP or PSP certifications a plus.       

    • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.    

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.    

    • An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications. 

Additional Requirements
 
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
 
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
