Our Senior Project Controllers are responsible for developing and managing integrated project schedules ( Planning & Scheduling ) meeting customer and Stakeholder requirements.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams, our Project Controller ensures risks, issues, and changes are documented and addressed promptly following GE Vernova standards.
Additionally, the Project Controller provides a complete project performance assessment, consolidating schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity information into a clear, comprehensive view for internal and external stakeholders.Job Description
What you'll do:
- Develop and maintain L3 baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
- Lead schedule reviews, progress reporting, critical path analysis, and monthly deep‑dives.
- Provide schedule risk assessments and support mitigation planning with cross‑functional teams.
- Manage schedule impacts related to claims, change orders, and customer variations.
- Collaborate with PMO & CoE partners, Engineering, C&I site teams, and project leadership to ensure alignment and timely updates.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and KPIs.
- Prepare schedule documentation for reviews, reporting, and project close‑out.
What you'll bring: (basic requirements)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Min. 8 years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function
- Min. 5 years of planning & scheduling in Primavera
- Only candidates meeting the basic requirement in the following industries will be considered; Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Power Plant, Infrastructure/Construction will be considered:
- Work on East Coast time zone (EST) hours, supporting Project Management Offices Located in Atlanta, GA. Schenectady, NY and Greenville, South Carolina strongly preferred.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $114,100.00 and $190,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
