Job Description:
 

This position is on the Enterprise Cost Management (ECoM) team which is a part of the CFO Strategic Forecasting & Expense Management team. The role provides unique, non-traditional Finance opportunities that support critical Operational Excellence (OpEx) efforts across the firm.  ECoM supports enterprise stakeholders in a variety of ways such as:

  • Engage as an internal consultant to all enterprise functions, providing transparency into resources / cost aligned to processes in support of the OpEx management system and the Bank’s Responsible Growth strategy

  • Contribute as cross-functional team member to deliver foundational process costing data, enabling business efforts to drive efficiencies

  • Support robust strategic ‘cases for change’ leveraging cost fact set for impacted processes

 

Responsibilities:

  • Builds relationships and partners closely with line of business stakeholder(s) to ensure successful completion of projects and interpretation of results

  • Leads daily activities of project activities and deliverables           

  • Integrates capabilities with key enterprise initiatives such as Operational Excellence, Simplify and Improve and organizational health

  • Serves as change catalyst by identifying efficiency opportunities and driving change

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years with finance, process management and/or project management

  • Strong written / oral communication skills and financial / data analysis experience. Including experience with presenting to Senior Stakeholders

  • Ability to leverage Microsoft Office tools for summarizing both qualitative and quantitative data. Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical / organizational skills

  • Comfort operating in a project / consulting capacity characterized by a dynamic work pipeline and needed flexibility in the type of work performed

  • Strong presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

  • Proficiency with Bank of America’s financial systems – SAP/eLedger

  • Knowledge of emerging technology tools such as Alteryx and Tableau - technical expertise or an understanding of how application of those tools can achieve benefits

  • Traditional project and change management including timeline development, progress tracking and risk / issue identification

  • Process orientation - experience and comfort analyzing workflows and identifying improvement opportunities

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$125,000.00 - $156,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
