As a Senior Program and Risk Analyst, you’ll conduct analysis based on the customer’s current maintenance schedule & flying patterns for all proposed bids. The analyst is relied upon to provide accurate data and insight to the Commercial Solutions team to ensure that bids for new and existing programs meet both StandardAero and customer requirements.
What you’ll do:
Designs, creates, and implements event forecasting data collection processes, program analysis models, and market forecasting tools for commercial fleet programs throughout the Sector.
Provides consultation and ongoing support / mentorship to Program Management and Commercial Solutions personnel in the Sector in data collection, program analysis and risk management methodologies and techniques for the purpose of program financial reconciliations and managing overall program health.
Gathers and reviews event cost and work scope data from a variety of sources and periodically assists business units in developing baseline cost models for bid and strategic planning purposes, and measuring actual work scope cost against baseline.
Responsible for ensuring program financial models are as accurate as possible and meet established criteria for business plans.
Basic Qualifications
University or college degree in engineering, technologist, finance, or data science with a focus on cost analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including experience with PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts, data analysis tools, and large data sets
Experience performing data analysis, cost analysis, forecasting, or quantitative analysis using statistical methods required
Desired Skills
Previous experience in the aerospace field or engine MRO environment
Strong knowledge of Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Applications preferred
Strong team player who thrives in an ever-challenging environment
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, decision making, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
