Job Summary:  

The Consulting Operations division is responsible for all delivery and projects for clients on our front-back-office asset management platform. From portfolio and order management to performance, risk, and accounting, our solution is a seamless, full investment lifecycle platform that simplifies your processes.

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead client consulting and implementation engagements with minimal oversight, consistently delivering on time and with quality. You will be an integral part of a collaborative division, interacting and working with both business experts (senior market finance consultants, fund managers, risk managers, etc.) and technical experts (R&D team, Delivery & DevOps team, etc.).

You will take part in both commando missions and projects lasting several months, often at our customers' sites and in direct contact with their business teams (managers, middle managers, RCCI, etc.).

The unrivalled functional coverage of Clearwater’s solution will enable you to work on a wide range of issues:

  • Front Office: order placement, decision support...

  • Middle Office: compliance, market risk monitoring, performance analysis, data management...

  • Back Office: investment accounting

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Create and manage detailed project plans for assigned portfolio.

  • Manage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, client and third-party resources on project workstreams.

  • Generate weekly status reports, holds weekly status meetings with client and project team.

  • Lead steering committee meetings with C-level client decision makers and Clearwater senior management.

  • Manage project commercials including revenue recognition forecast and book not billed.

  • Manage and report on resource allocation for assigned portfolio.

  • Responsible for all project metrics such as utilisation, go-live adherence, project billing etc.

  • Serve as a trusted client relationship manager responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and thorough responses to all client inquiries.

  • Manage a successful transition to the steady-state servicing team.

  • Ability to run multiple simultaneous implementations with minimal oversight.

 

Required Skills:  

  • Expert Technical skills in JIRA, Excel, Clarizen and Salesforce. Explores, trials, and provides trusted recommendations for the use of other tools and technologies as use cases arise.  

  • Financial Services Experience (Investment, Banking, Insurance, FinTech, etc). 

  • Project manage in a matrix reporting environment. 

  • Investment accounting and reporting knowledge. 

  • Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and delivery model 

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.  

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

 

 

Education and Experience: 

  •  Experience as working as Project Manager or Senior Analyst in financial markets

  • Proven experience implementing software solutions in Asset Management and/or Insurance space.

  • Financial Services Experience (Financial Markets, Middle Office, Back Office, Reporting, Performance etc.)

  • Proven experience of delivering projects or workstreams for external clients.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, internal and client facing).

  • Expert Technical skills in project management tools

  • Fluent French speaker and a good level of English.
