Key Responsibilities: 

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of executing a strategic product/program tailored to the Taiwanese market, ensuring that our experience resonate with local consumers. Specifically, you will be part of the Coupang Taiwan Customer Experience Product Management team leading the Product Operations domain. Working with Product Operations team and Product team, your goal will be to implement industry leading detection and enforcement measures which eliminate bad actors, while ensuring our regular customers continue to have the best possible shopping experience. The role is essential in ensuring that Taiwan’s everyday consumers can confidently take advantage of the best promotions, pricing and products that Coupang has to offer. 

As a Senior Program Manager, you will: 

  • Work backwards from customer problems, business needs and data driven insights, to become a thought leader in the fraud and abuse space.  
  • Partner and collaborate closely with Fraud Ops team, Customer Service, Product team, engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders to go deep on problems and translate that into clear and actionable SOPs and solutions. 
  • Build and launch solutions to scale beyond Taiwan to Coupang’s other businesses.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field. 
  • 10+ years of program management experience or equivalent, with a proven track record of managing complex programs at scale.
  • Experience working with and leading globally distributed and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to combine strategic foresight with a strong execution focus to drive results. 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to derive insights, prioritize, drive decision-making and identify new opportunities/defects to solve.  
  • A proactive approach, with a willingness to delve into details, get your hands dirty and go above and beyond to drive results.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas succinctly and persuasively. 

Preferred: 

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field.
  • Prior experience in the e-commerce industry.
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience in consumer fraud or risk management functions.
  • Moderate to intermediate proficiency in data analytics and SQL.
  • Experience in launching consumer-facing products in a fast-paced environment, with a preference for candidates who have worked in start-ups or large tech companies.
