Senior Program Manager for LIMS
We are taking a giant step forward to create a future ready organization that evolves at the speed of science and technology, to meet the needs of patients by seeking and incorporating novel digital capabilities, data, and agile methodologies.
Our aim is to provide digital solutions that are personalized to each patient's unique needs and health circumstances. With individual care at the center, we can support patients in actively managing their personal care journey -from the moment they are diagnosed through treatment and beyond.
Our IT team plays an integral role in accelerating this exciting journey and our Innovation Capability Solutions and Services Center (ICSS) is the home of over 400 new Takeda employees who will work to create and deliver the products and technologies that will enable these foundational aspirations.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager with a strong background in project delivery and digital products delivery. As a pivotal member of our ICSS team, you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of solutions for Laboratory Information Management System across our matrixed organization. A key aspect of the role will be managing consulting partners, program financials and supporting project decisions for delivery of technical solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare financial plans, oversee monthly accruals and program status updates, oversee program budgets, track expenses and report on financial performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Responsible for vendor management, management of Statements of Work and purchase orders;
  • Support onboarding of new joiners;
  • Supporting overall program for Laboratory Information Management Systems development, including the coordination of multiple initiatives, resources, and stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
  • Supporting program strategy, including goals, objectives, scope, timeline, and resource allocation, in alignment with the organization's strategic vision.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on status, risks, and accomplishments to ensure the successful delivery of the program.
  • Conduct and manage conversations with customers/stakeholders of the program.
  • Support monitoring and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation and resolution strategies as needed.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, key milestones, risks, and achievements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by conducting program reviews, identifying lessons learned, and implementing process enhancements.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project and program management, with a strong focus on financial and planning aspects of program management
  • Proven success in managing programs from initiation to delivery.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing program budgets and financial aspects.
  • High level of adaptability and comfort in navigating ambiguity and change.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Pharmaceutical Experience: Preferred for understanding industry nuances.
  • Domain Expertise: Life Sciences or Social Sciences proficiency.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA cGMP/GLP regulations.
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project/program management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in agile project management software and tools.
