Overview

The Productized Services organization is a key pillar within JLLT’s Work Dynamics Technology Group. Our objective is to ensure that the services delivered by our Work Dynamics business are fully operationalized and optimized. This includes validating that the value chain for each Productized Service Offering is clear and aligned with business objectives, developing enabling technology strategies tailored to each Productized Service Offering, and ensuring that each Productized Service Offering is ready for operationalization.

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to partner with our Product Team and internal collaborators to facilitate execution of the overall strategy for a given product area. The Program Manager is accountable for program management of several complex projects and initiatives. This role will be a member of a PMO team, reporting to the Director of Portfolio Program Management with a dotted line to their Product Executive. The key to this role is exhibiting strong program and project management skills, along with serving as a trusted advisor to the Product Executive and their Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.

A day in the life of Work Dynamics Technology Productized Services Program Manager includes:

 Strategic Partnership:

  • Partner with the Product Executive and their teams to understand the overall strategic direction of the products within a given product family and their interconnectivity where applicable​.
  • Assist with executive level presentations, stakeholder management and communications, and often confidential product strategies​.
  • Provide guidance on JLLT, WD Technology, and Productized Services best practices and policies​.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team cadences (tying in strategy, product goals and key metrics, roadmap initiatives, quarterly commitments, and program plans).

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Facilitate annual budget process for respective product area under the guidance of the Portfolio Program Lead​.
  • Assist product and technical teams with resource planning, including the level of capex potential​.
  • Advise product and technical teams on the accuracy and completeness of budget line items.
  • Assist with Capex Financial Charters for approved budget initiatives.​
  • Monitor monthly financial spend/burn rate to ensure budget compliance, and flag areas of concern to product leadership.
  • Review monthly labor allocations and operating expenses under guidance of Portfolio Program Lead; help investigate budget variances for potential expense reclass and MFR commentary.​

Quarterly Planning, Status Reporting, and Program Communication:

  • Facilitate planning sessions for all product offerings within the product family, including internal technical builds, third-party tech enabled products, and other chosen strategies (both technical and non-technical).
  • Guide the product team in the work breakdown from Product Roadmap > Initiatives > Prioritized Epics/Activities, and facilitate the use of best practice prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and identification of dependencies and risks.
  • Report on quarterly commitments, track Say/Do Ratio, and flag all risks to meeting the quarterly commitments.
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Pillar Level Program Plan, including committed activities, progress, and commentary​.
  • Evaluate activities based on quarterly commitments as well as product roadmaps, flagging items that appear to have gaps or may no longer be meetable.​
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of RAID Log; follow up on mitigation and resolution plans​.
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of Key Metrics Progress and Status Highlights for executive consumption.

Technical and Non-Technical Program Management:

  • Ensure documented team operating model is in alignment with agile framework​.
  • Serve as liaison between technical resources, design resources, product management, and delivery teams​.
  • May facilitate spike discussions, tiger team initiatives, requirements deep dives, and track decisions​.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrum level development cadences​.
  • Participate in Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Partner with Scrum Leader to understand and communicate development metrics such as team velocity, burndown, cycle time​.
  • Identify interdependencies and coordinate engagement needed from partner teams.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing​
  • Facilitate Release Planning in partnership with Product Readiness function.

Product Operations:

  • Facilitate engagement of procurement, legal, Vendor Management Office, and AP for required License and other operating expenses such as Contractor and Vendor SOWs​.
  • Facilitate engagement with partner product and delivery teams or other inter-company resources as required​.
  • Facilitate strategic initiatives with product deliverables, product process changes, and general product governance.

Skills and experience

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Program Manager, leading complex projects or programs from initiation to closure.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related fields is desirable.

Estimated total compensation ran for this position is:

1.00 – 1.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
