The purpose of this task order is to provide professional services in the form of one (1) Senior Program Manager who will support the R/PPR front office by performing the tasks described in this Statement of Work.
Job Duties:
- Provide strategic and expert advice and analysis and develop recommendations for senior office leadership on various complex PD, organizational, and office management issues, within an assigned portfolio.
- Identify emerging challenges facing the office, and the broader PD community, and facilitate decision-making in response to those challenges by examining alternative solutions and recommending courses of action.
- Collaborate with senior office and Department officials to formulate, build consensus for, and disseminate information, policy, and guidance to missions, other Bureaus, Congressional staffers and committees, and other policy makers related to the resourcing, practice, and current and future operations of PD.
- Provide leadership in the flow of all briefing materials, responses to inquiries, and other action and decision documents to senior office officials.
- Review important matters requiring the personal attention of senior office officials; analyze a wide variety of requests and proposals, official correspondence, reports and documents of a substantive and sensitive nature.
- Establish administrative policies, standards, and guidelines for the maintenance of accurate records of incoming and outgoing correspondence, information on policy discussions, taskers, and briefing materials.
- Relay instructions to staff, coordinate the collection of data, prepare reports for senior officials, or otherwise act on various requests concerning administrative and procedural requirements.
- Manage records in accordance with the Department’s records management policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred.
- Experience managing the implementation of complex projects with organization-wide impact.
- Proficiency in the use of word processing software, spreadsheets, databases and project management tools.
- Familiarity with best practices in project management.
- Familiarity with performance measurement, evaluation, surveying and general use of metrics to track organizational performance, progress and goal attainment.
- Familiarity with principles and practices of knowledge management.
- Familiarity with formulating, writing, and implementing policies, processes, and procedures.
- High level of proficiency in written and oral communications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- An active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary Compensation: $165,000-$175,000/year
