POSITION SUMMARY

HELIOS Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead SETA and acquisition support for a high-visibility NGA mission involving persistent GEOINT, OPIR, systems engineering, program control, major systems acquisition and technical integration. The individual will lead the HELIOS onsite team and provide senior programmatic and acquisition advice to Government leadership while integrating mission, engineering, acquisition, cost, schedule, resource and risk considerations.

The Most Senior Program Manager will lead contract and program execution; oversee the multidisciplinary PM, systems engineering and Program Control workforce; manage cost, schedule, requirements, performance, staffing, risks and deliverables; support acquisition planning, source selection and lifecycle execution; facilitate program and technical reviews; integrate Government, SETA, FFRDC and industry stakeholders; support OPIR and persistent GEOINT capability integration and fielding; identify programmatic and technical risks and recommend mitigation; and provide senior NGA leadership with timely decision-quality information concerning acquisition, resources, mission capability and program execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active TS/SCI with current CI Polygraph
  • Related BA/BS plus at least 12 years directly supporting or managing IC/DoD acquisition programs, or at least 18 years qualifying experience in lieu of a degree
  • Required Major Systems Acquisition-level IC/DoD experience. 
  • Recent experience, including within the past five years, supporting an integrated Government/contractor team executing persistent GEOINT TCPED
  • Recent senior-leader support involving NSG money/manpower resource-allocation decisions
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, requirements, performance, risk and acquisition activities. 
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary Government/contractor teams. 
  • Executive communication and senior advisory capability. 
  • Ability to work onsite at NGA-Denver. 
HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Direct OPIR experience. 
  • NGA/NRO/SSC/Space Force/MDA experience. 
  • NGA-Denver/SXP experience. 
  • OPIR ground-system or space/ground architecture experience. 
  • PMP, DAWIA or comparable credential. 
  • OCONUS program management. 
  • Department of State/U.S. Embassy/international partner coordination. 

The PM qualification requires 12+ years of qualifying acquisition program experience, while PMP/DAWIA and OCONUS/State/Embassy experience are strong desirables.

COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE
The anticipated salary range for this position is $165K to $205K annually. This range represents HELIOS Defense Solutions, LLC's good faith estimate of the compensation it may pay for this position at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple job-related factors, which may include the candidate's education, relevant experience, specialized expertise, certifications, security clearance and access requirements, directly applicable mission and customer experience, demonstrated qualifications, internal equity, contract requirements, and available program funding.  The posted salary range does not guarantee a specific compensation level for any individual candidate.  Final compensation will be established in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law and the terms and conditions of employment.
