The Role

Where Trust Leads, Bold Ideas Grow, and Community Thrives

Paula’s Choice, a global skincare leader founded in 1995, empowers individuals to define beauty on their own terms through science-backed products. Our mission comes to life through four core values that guide our actions, decisions, and impact:

  • Build Trust: We set the standard for skincare, transparency, and shared knowledge.
  • Be Bold: We lead through innovation and by challenging the status quo.
  • Act with Kindness: We operate with respect and care—for our customers, colleagues, and the planet.
  • Create Community: We believe in the power of connection—whether educating customers, supporting each other, or giving back, we grow stronger together.

Our team spans North America, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, and the broader APAC region, collaborating globally to drive innovation. We offer space to thrive—personally, professionally, and through our comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being at every stage:

  • Generous paid time off, including time off to volunteer
  • Learning and development resources to support personal and professional growth
  • Wellness benefits like meditation app memberships, product discounts, and free samples of our amazing products
  • Most roles are fully remote (roles that are required to be at our Seattle HQ can be found in the details section of this job post)
  • Great location – for roles that are hybrid or fully onsite, we’re in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District
  • Did we mention we’re a dog-friendly office?

Our culture encourages continuous learning and is fueled by connection, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration. Whether onsite, remote, or hybrid, we stay connected through shared initiatives that bring our teams together. If you’re inspired by transparency, driven to make an impact, and eager to help foster community—we’d love to have you join us.

How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice:

At Paula’s Choice, we’re entering our next phase of growth — modernizing the brand, scaling globally, and executing the initiatives that will define the future of the business.

This role sits at the center of that work.

As Senior Program Manager of Strategic Initiatives, you will own the delivery of the company’s most important cross-functional bets — the programs that shape how the brand shows up in the world and how the business runs.

You’ll partner directly with senior leadership, operate across every function, and be trusted to take ambiguous priorities and turn them into clear plans that ship. This is not a coordination role. It’s an ownership role.

As a Senior Program Manager of Strategic Initiatives, you will own:

Leading 1–2 of our highest-impact initiatives at any given time — typically multi-quarter, highly visible programs that span brand, packaging, product development, supply chain, digital, and finance.

From day one, you are accountable for outcomes. That means:

  • Defining scope, success metrics, and timelines
  • Building the roadmap and integrated plan
  • Aligning stakeholders and driving decisions
  • Managing dependencies and risks
  • Ensuring teams are fully ready to launch

Many initiatives involve physical product and operational complexity (repackaging, sourcing, inventory transitions, phased rollouts), so comfort navigating real-world execution details — not just strategy — is key.

You bring clarity, momentum, and follow-through so the work actually gets done.

As a Senior Program Manager of Strategic Initiatives, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

  • Translate strategy into clear, actionable roadmaps and workplans
  • Lead cross-functional programs end-to-end, from concept through launch
  • Run stakeholder alignment and decision-making forums
  • Proactively identify risks, escalate early, and remove blockers
  • Create clear, executive-ready artifacts (briefs, decks, dashboards, updates)
  • Maintain pace and accountability across teams without formal authority
  • Build repeatable ways of working that help the organization execute better over time

What success looks like

  • Critical initiatives launch on time and at a high bar for quality
  • Leaders have clarity and confidence in program health
  • Teams feel aligned and focused, not chasing loose ends
  • Risks are anticipated early, not discovered late
  • The company moves faster because you’re running the plan

You’ll work directly with leadership on the company’s most important bets, gain broad exposure across the business, and have meaningful ownership and visibility from day one.

If you’re someone who thrives on turning strategy into execution — and wants to be accountable for real outcomes — you’ll love this role.

The Details:

  • Location: Hybrid. The ideal candidate will be based in the Pacific Northwest and able to commute to our Seattle, WA office.
  • Hours: Typical PST business hours, with flexibility required.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting & screen time.
  • Travel requirements: Less than 10%

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 6+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs or products in fast-paced environments
  • Experience owning roadmaps and delivering initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong problem-structuring skills and comfort with ambiguity
  • A bias toward action and a reputation for follow-through
  • Excellent communication — crisp thinking, clear storytelling, strong executive presence
  • Ability to influence across functions and levels without authority
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work (decks, plans, reporting), not just direct others

What can help you really stand out:

  • Experience in consumer, CPG, beauty, or ecommerce businesses
  • Exposure to packaging, product development, supply chain, or launch operations

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$130,000 - $145,000 USD/annually
