We are looking for a senior project and program leader to influence how HR plans, prioritizes and delivers its work. There is no template to inherit. You will bring your experience and best practices to help design an approach that reflects who Ichor is and where it is headed, building shared ownership with partners across the organization. If you thrive on creating practices that last and the partnerships that sustain them, this role is for you.
This is a role of influence. You will work with leaders across HR, IT, Finance and the business, most of whom you will not manage. Your impact will come from clear thinking, sound recommendations, credibility and follow-through.
ResponsibilitiesCreate clarity and structure
Create a clear, simple way for HR work to be requested, prioritized and tracked, with defined ownership and transparent criteria
Recommend a right-sized approach to project standards, templates, tools and reporting that teams will actually use, starting simply and expanding as value is proven
Balance compliance obligations, executive priorities, business value, effort and readiness when helping leaders decide what to do and when
Provide visibility and insight
Give HR and executive leaders one honest view of priorities, risks, dependencies, capacity and progress, at the right level of detail for each audience
Anticipate conflicts and bottlenecks across the HR calendar, and bring options and recommendations to decision-makers early
Track benefits, adoption and outcomes, not only on-time delivery
Lead delivery and change
Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from planning through launch and adoption
Guide initiative owners across HR and IT through planning, readiness, testing, launch and post-implementation learning
Drive change management so projects land with the people who use them, including impact assessment, communications, manager enablement and feedback loops
Partner across the organization
Build trusted relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR business partners, site HR, HR systems, IT, Finance, Legal and external vendors
Partner with these groups to keep controls, compliance and quality in view throughout delivery
Facilitate the forums that keep priorities aligned and decisions moving
Enable smarter ways of working
Use AI and automation to work smarter yourself, and model practical, responsible use for others
Identify where AI and automation can responsibly standardize and digitally enable HR processes, and help make sure those processes are sound first
Builder: you are energized by creating something, not only maintaining it
Critical thinker: you question assumptions, test the evidence and weigh the trade-offs
Influencer: you earn trust through credibility, clear thinking and follow-through
Pragmatist: you build structure without bureaucracy and focus on what moves the work forward
Candid and constructive: you report honestly, push back respectfully and escalate appropriately
Curious: you are quick to learn new tools and put them to practical use
Collaborative: you help each partner do their part well
People trust the way work is requested, prioritized and tracked
Leaders use one honest view of the portfolio to make better, faster decisions
Time-critical and compliance-driven commitments are delivered on time and with quality
Projects land with adoption, not only go-live
Teams adopt shared practices because they help, not because they are enforced
Required
10+ years of project, program or PMO experience, including significant HR or people-technology delivery
A strong understanding of the full HR function, including HR business partnering, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, talent development and employee relations, and how they connect
A track record of establishing or maturing governance and delivery practices where few existed
Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
A systems thinker and critical thinker who looks for root causes, dependencies and second-order effects, and weighs trade-offs
A change agent's mindset, with experience driving adoption among managers and across multiple sites or regions
Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve how work gets planned, analyzed, communicated and delivered, with sound judgment about where human oversight matters
Excellent facilitation, communication and executive presence
Comfort with ambiguity, and the judgment to prioritize when many things feel urgent
Preferred
Experience with a cloud HCM platform (Oracle a plus), including release management and system integrations
Familiarity with audit and control requirements
Experience in a multi-site, multi-country or regulated environment
PMP, PgMP, Prosci or similar certification

What We Do
We are a leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of critical fluid delivery subsystems and components for semiconductor capital equipment. Our product offerings include gas and chemical delivery systems and subsystems, collectively known as fluid delivery systems and subsystems, which are key elements of the process tools used in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices. Our gas delivery subsystems deliver, monitor, and control precise quantities of the specialized gases used in semiconductor manufacturing processes such as etch and deposition. Our chemical delivery systems and subsystems precisely blend and dispense the reactive liquid chemistries used in semiconductor manufacturing processes such as chemical-mechanical planarization, electroplating, and cleaning. We also provide precision-machined components, weldments, e‑beam and laser-welded components, precision vacuum and hydrogen brazing and surface treatment technologies, and other proprietary products. This vertically integrated portion of our business is primarily focused on metal and plastic parts that are used in gas and chemical systems, respectively. We are strategically located to provide the highest level of customer service and support from our program management, sales, engineering, and executive management teams. Ichor is headquartered in Fremont, California, and we have production facilities in California, Oregon, Texas, Nevada, Minnesota, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Mexico, and the UK, staffed by our 2000+ team members.
