Fors Marsh is seeking a candidate who will provide full-time support to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and/or DHS sub-agencies in the areas of project management, program and policy research, and facilitating progress on agency mission and objectives. Specifically, this position will and serve as the lead for performance management and program evaluation for a suite of federal programs focused on translating knowledge into actionable policies and practices.

 

  • Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
  • Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. 
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. 
  • Perform activities in the human resource area. Includes employment specialists who conduct job analysis for specific areas such as position classification. 
  • Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
  • Analyze budgeting and accounting reports. 

 

  • Master's degree in in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Sociology, Statistics or other social science field. 
  • Experience 10+ years in project management support and experience contributing to and leading evaluation research projects for clients. 
  • Ability to apply tools like data analytics, data visualization, and performance measurement to help clients answer priority questions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.
  • Active security clearance within the U.S. Departmentof Homeland Security (DHS) agency or active Secret/Top Secret Clearance.
