Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Program Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to robust New Product Introduction (NPI) and Work Package Transfer (WPT) plans across Hexcel EAP Core and Engineered Core facilities.
- Identify, assess, and regularly track project risks and issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely mitigation actions.
- Provide accurate and structured reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners on project progress, performance, and key milestones.
- Monitor and enforce change control processes within NPI and WPT to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Lead tooling management activities within the facility from a Sales & Marketing (S&M) perspective.
- Coordinate and lead customer visits related to NPI and WPT projects, ensuring alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Drive rate readiness activities to ensure operational preparedness for production ramp-up under NPI/WPT programs.
- Support forecast and order book management, including tracking business cases and ensuring alignment with operational and commercial objectives.
- Contribute to key Sales & Marketing business processes such as SIOP, STRAP, and Plan & Latest Estimate (LE) reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, HR), lead project meetings, define KPIs, and ensure delivery of NPI and WPT projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field and +5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in an industrial or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects in a matrix organization.
- Experience working with external stakeholders, including customers or suppliers.
- Solid technical understanding of manufacturing processes (considered a strong advantage).
- Fluency in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment, demonstrating proactivity and self-motivation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, combined with strong presentation skills and willingness to travel in an international context.
