We are seeking a mission-driven Senior Program Associate to support the delivery of a high-visibility initiative supporting a defense sector client. In this role, you’ll work alongside program leadership to help develop and operate a high-tempo capability that identifies mission needs, scouts solutions, and drives integration into operational environments.

The ideal candidate brings both strong execution skills and the ability to think strategically—capable of translating big-picture objectives into concrete deliverables and coordinating across multiple stakeholders. You’ll balance independent work with close collaboration, ensuring our delivery is timely, high-quality, and mission-focused.

At a high level, you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting federal client engagements across the US government 

Salary Range: $75,000- $96,000

Secret or Top Secret level security clearance preferred. Security clearance eligibility required.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and delivery of client work in areas such as:
  • Drafting reports, strategies, assessments, and other written deliverables
  • Creating presentations and visuals that effectively communicate client requirements
  • Developing, organizing, and executing both in-person and virtual training and delivery workshops 
  • Researching and analyzing federal legislation, policy, and agency documentation
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending emerging technology solutions using both open source and proprietary data sources  
• Work with Dcode’s program managers to ensure delivery meets contractual requirements, including cost and schedule
• Coordinate with Dcode’s delivery team and sales team on upsell and expansion opportunities
• Represent Dcode at conferences, events, and meetings with leaders from government, and industry
• Help grow Dcode’s network of government innovators by building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders

KEY SKILLS

You’ll learn something new every day in this role. We’ll teach you the ropes but ideal candidates will have:

• 2-5 years of work experience; preferably some experience working within DoD or the Army
• Prior experience delivering client-facing client work and developing effective communications collateral 
• The ability to work without being closely managed and continuously WOW
• Strong interest and exposure to in one or more of the following areas: government contracting and acquisitions, government finance and budgeting, processes re-engineering, organizational design, policy, government culture-change, data analytics/visualization, and/or communications materials
• Exposure/experience in tech scouting
• Understanding and comfort with agile project management
• An ability to work independently and with a team to meet client deadlines
• An ability to listen to clients and discern needs
• A willingness and ability to support operations in a fast-paced environment
• Proven problem-solving, self-management, and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
