As a Senior Production Planner here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and quality in our advanced manufacturing environment.  You will report directly to our Director Materials Management, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.


In this role, you will impact on the overall productivity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining effective production schedules that meet customer needs while minimizing costs and downtime.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production plans and supply chain capabilities.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Develop and maintain MPS aligning to demand and capacity.
  • Review weekly metrics and ensure adherence to goals.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and software, such as MRP or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in production scheduling, planning and materials management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
