About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Technologist to serve as the technological focal point for PDC's material metrology platforms. In this role, you will define the technology roadmap and product requirements for a best-in-class tool, grounded in a deep understanding of customer processes and high-value problems (HVPs). You'll drive hands-on experiments and analysis - both in-house and at customer sites - and partner closely with Physics, Systems, Algorithms, and Software teams to deliver metrology-grade performance and accelerate customer adoption.

 

Must-Haves

  • Expertise in the Semiconductor industry: technology, market trends and customer landscape
  • 10+ years of R&D experience in a multidisciplinary project, with a proven hands-on experimental record
  • MSc or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a leading institute

Nice to Have

  • Background in development (not as a user) of a  X-ray techniques / microscopy / spectroscopy / optical design / SEM
  • Customer facing experience

 

Soft Skills

  • Highly motivated and independent, with a proven ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments
