Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.
Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years. Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.
At Nothing, we’re on a mission to make tech fun again and inspire human creativity.
We’re looking for a Product Strategy Manager, US to bring the voice of the US consumer directly into how we build products. You’ll be our eyes and ears in one of the world’s most important consumer technology markets—spotting shifts in consumer behaviour, emerging needs, competitive moves, and opportunities before they become obvious.
This isn’t a traditional market research role. You’ll turn what you see in the market into a point of view: what should we build, improve, prioritise, or explore next?
Working closely with our global Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Commercial teams, you’ll make sure US consumer needs and market realities help shape our product strategy and roadmap.
What You’ll Do- Develop a deep understanding of US consumers—their behaviours, unmet needs, purchase drivers, frustrations, and expectations of technology products.
- Stay close to the market through customer feedback, online communities, retail and e-commerce channels, industry research, competitor activity, and emerging cultural and technology trends.
- Turn fragmented market signals into clear insights and actionable recommendations for global product teams.
- Identify new product opportunities, use cases, features, and areas where our existing products can be better.
- Analyse the competitive landscape and understand not just what competitors are doing, but why it matters and where the opportunity is for Nothing.
- Bring a strong US market perspective into product planning, roadmap discussions, and early-stage product development.
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing and Commercial teams globally to influence decisions through evidence, consumer understanding, and strong product judgement.
- Explore emerging technologies and changing consumer behaviours to identify where the market could go next—not just where it is today.
- 5+ years of experience across product strategy, product management, consumer insights, market intelligence, user research, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the US consumer technology and consumer electronics market.
- Strong product sense—you can look beyond the data and form a clear point of view on what consumers will value.
- Experience turning consumer, market, and competitive insights into product recommendations or roadmap decisions.
- Comfortable combining qualitative and quantitative information to find the signal in the noise.
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex findings and influence global, cross-functional teams.
- Curious, commercially minded, and comfortable challenging assumptions.
- Able to independently explore an ambiguous question, build a perspective, and recommend what we should do next.
- Experience with TWS earbuds, headphones, speakers, smart audio, or other audio products.
- Experience with wearables, connected devices, smartphones, or smart hardware.
- Experience working for a consumer technology, consumer electronics, or hardware brand.
- Strong familiarity with US retail, DTC, e-commerce, technology communities, and consumer buying behaviour.
- Experience working across US and global product teams.
- Are genuinely fascinated by people—what they buy, how they use technology, and why their behaviour changes.
- Naturally ask “why?” and “what does this mean for the product?”
- Have opinions, but are willing to change them when the evidence says otherwise.
- Enjoy getting close to consumers rather than relying only on reports and dashboards.
- Can connect consumer behaviour, technology, culture, competition, and business into one product story.
- Get excited about finding an opportunity before everyone else sees it.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and prefer creating the answer to waiting for one.

What We Do
Today, we’re left with just a few large incumbents. Lacking instinct and courage, they use research and analysis as crutches to make cold, unexciting and derivative products. Consumers are bored, no longer inspired by technology and instead feel uneasy about big tech and its impact on people's lives and society. Nothing is igniting change in the world. We’re here to make tech fun again, unleash creativity, and inspire our community to shape the future with us. About us: Nothing is a UK-based privately held company with backing from GV (formerly Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, C Ventures and other private investors including Tony Fadell (Principal at Future Shape & inventor of the iPod), Casey Neistat (YouTube personality and Co-founder of Beme), Kevin Lin (Co-founder of Twitch) and Steve Huffman (Co-founder and CEO of Reddit
