Key Responsibilities:
1.Product Testing and Characterization
-
Design and execute electrical and functional tests using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and lab instruments.

Perform comprehensive product characterization across operating conditions as specified in product datasheet.

Develop and optimize test programs to accurately measure key performance parameters.
-
Liaise internally with Operation in Test Package Release and assignment activities to achieve the required agreed priority as well as resolve all test related issues.
-
Continually drive alignment for all Reliability tests for each product.
-
Improve reliability execution effectiveness and efficiency, reduce overall cycle time.
2. ESD Testing
-
Conduct Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) testing, including Human Body Model (HBM), Machine Model (MM), and Charged Device Model (CDM), following industry standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q100).

Perform Latch-up testing to ensure product robustness and reliability.
-
Analyze ESD test results, identify root causes of failures, and recommend design and process improvements.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
-
Collect, analyze, and interpret test and characterization data to evaluate performance trends and anomalies.
-
Use statistical tools such as MATLAB, Python, or JMP or Origin to assess product variability, yield, and reliability.

Data analysis from reliability tests, providing regular updates to various Engineering, and Quality groups.
4. Test Development and Automation:
-
Develop and validate automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure that all test systems and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.

Develop and modify test fixture, test handler and maintain the test equipment condition needed to execute the measurement.

Create and maintain test procedures, guidelines, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
-
Be responsible for the continuous improvement of electrical test equipment, methods, and processes.
Requirement:
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics, Microelectronics, Physic or equivalent
-
Minimum 3 years of working experience in semiconductor electrical testing/test product testing, ESD testing and characterization is preferred.

Proficiency with ATE systems such as Parset, J800 or Magnum or ETS88.
-
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, ESD MK2, and other lab instruments.
-
Strong data analysis skills using MATLAB, Python, JMP, Orgin or similar tools.
-
In-depth understanding of semiconductor device physics and electrical measurement techniques.
-
Expertise in ESD testing methodologies, including HBM, MM, CDM, and Latch-up testing.
-
Ability to design and optimize test setups for both standard and non-standard products.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality, and documentation.
-
Knowledge in programming like Visual Basic, VB application for Excel, C# and C++ is a plus.
