Drive product performance across its entire life cycle at the core of Novartis Operations. In this role, you will lead product management activities under a project umbrella to support commercial brand strategy and ensure cost‑effective, reliable, and high‑quality supply. Acting as the single point of contact for the product, you will manage complexity, facilitate senior decision‑making, and ensure robust supply, issue resolution, and crisis management while shaping the cost evolution of the brand across manufacturing sites and the wider value chain.
Job Description
- Lead product life‑cycle management to ensure robust, high‑quality, and on‑time supply across the value chain.
- Act as the single point of contact for the product, including issue resolution and crisis management.
- Execute long‑term demand, capacity, and inventory planning to optimize service, cost, and supply reliability.
- Lead cross‑functional product teams across Operations, Development, and Commercial functions.
- Define and execute integrated manufacturing strategies, including launches, transfers, and process improvements.
- Partner with manufacturing sites to ensure optimal site allocation and supply network performance.
- Drive cost leadership initiatives focused on efficiency gains, complexity reduction, and network optimization.
- Ensure compliance with quality, good manufacturing practice, and regulatory requirements while improving processes.
- Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, science, medicine, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum five years of professional experience, including relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- PM certification (APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP).
- Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives in regional or global matrix organizations.
- Strong background in supply chain, strategy, and financial management across the product life cycle.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in complex, multicultural, and changing environments.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Additional language skills beyond English.
- Association for Supply Chain Management certification: Certified in Production and Inventory Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional.
