Job Description
Experian is looking for a Sr Product Owner to join our Global Identity and Fraud team, which is a part of our Experian Software Solutions business. You will work with one or more scrum teams to lead product development of best-of-breed solutions that operate behind our award-winning Ascend Technology Platform. If you are passionate about managing the product backlog, organizing sprint content, and collaborating with different teams to meet sprint goals, then we would love to talk with you. You will report to Product Management, VP.
What you'll do
- Producing clear, high-quality, specific, and unambiguous, functional and non-functional requirements for new features and enhancements
- Produce a healthy backlog by refining prioritized features into user stories
- Define sprint goals and manage scope and deliverables of a release
- Accept user stories at the end of sprint and facilitate company partner communication about project status and releases
- Review and support product documentation activities
Qualifications
What you will bring:
- 4+ yrs experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager within a Software / Technology context
- Technical expertise and the ability to work with customers and other teams.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, in software product development, using the primary Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP)
- 4+ years of experience managing complex situations with multiple dependencies and constraints
- Fluent verbal and written English
The following skills will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience in the identity and fraud industry
- Expertise using Jira and Confluence to capture and prioritize release requirements
- 4+ years of experience working with digital data collection technologies
