Job Role: Senior Product Owner – Mobile Applications

At Travelex, we're redefining how travellers manage their foreign exchange through digital innovation. Our mobile app empowers customers to seamlessly top up and manage their multi-currency Travel Money Cards in real time. As we continue pushing the boundaries of our digital transformation—enhancing app performance, reliability, and user security across iOS and Android - our Senior Technical Product Manager (Mobile Applications) will own the strategic and technical roadmap that ensures long-term scalability and superior customer experience.
Key responsibilities:
Roadmap Ownership: Develop and manage the product roadmap in alignment with business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Align with executives, marketing, design, and engineering teams.
Technical Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate the technical impact of feature requests and roadmap items.
Backlog Grooming & Requirements Writing: Write detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
Release Planning: Coordinate technical releases with dev, QA, and DevOps teams.
Integration & API Oversight: Work closely on backend integrations and external service dependencies.
Platform Performance Optimization: Focus on app performance, crash analytics, and technical debt.
Technical Roadmap Contribution: Support planning with a focus on scalability and long-term health.
Sprint Planning Support: Act as a bridge between engineering and product leadership for sprint execution.
Mobile Application Development Lifecycle Management: Proven experience managing mobile applications projects end-to-end
Mobile Release Management Knowledge: Solid understanding of the release process to App Store & Google Play Store, phased rollout, A/B testing, and ensuring smooth, successful deployments of our apps to customers
Tooling & Infrastructure Coordination: Collaborate with mobile engineering on build tools, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
