Inmar's Martech Division is a high growth and profitable business spanning Incentives, Loyalty, Media, and Data solutions for retailers and brands. This Division is core to the company's next wave of growth, powering a portfolio that manages billions in annual transactions between retailers and product manufacturers. The Senior Product Operations Manager will be responsible for elevating and accelerating Inmar's Martech Product team by establishing tools, systems, and processes and driving their adoption & adherence. This role will require an experienced individual contributor to independently solve problems to help the Martech Product team move faster & more effectively. The Senior Product Operations Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Product Operations, Martech.

Product Operations serves as the connective tissue across the Product organization - improving visibility, observability, and accountability. Our focus is driving efficiency at scale through the implementation and governance of programs, processes, and tools across the product lifecycle. We do this within Product, Engineering, and Design, and in partnership with other functions. Your mission will be to dramatically increase the quantity and quality of product delivery across the company, leading to better customer experiences and business outcomes. You'll use your operational expertise, product sense, and interpersonal skills to drive a variety of high-impact projects aimed at maturing the way we build products, and enhance visibility into product roadmaps and outcomes across the Martech product portfolio.

This role requires independence and initiative, and ability to manage change effectively with people at all levels across the organization. This position is eligible to work remotely with a need to travel to Inmar offices on an as-needed basis.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Implement common roadmap planning, management, and communication tools across the team and which can be shared across Martech and Inmar more broadly
  • Facilitate product planning cycle in a way that aligns product strategy, resource allocation, roadmap planning, and outcome measurement
  • Work closely with product leadership to help their teams communicate effectively with each other, business leaders, and the wider business.
  • Plan and execute an iterative, customer-centric, and data-driven product planning process, working with partners across the organization to capture priorities from the entire business
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Design to enable best practices and standardize operating rhythms and the product development process from discovery to launch to ensure rigor and consistency
  • Define and standardize the product development process from discovery to launch to ensure rigor and consistency
  • Be the connective tissue between the Product organization, go-to-market functions, and customer-facing teams to understand cross-functional dependencies, knowledge gaps, and identify opportunities
  • Own and operationalize cross-functional product processes that help drive alignment and visibility into product discovery and roadmap delivery (i.e. what we're building, what we've built, how we're doing, value to the business and customers)
  • Strategize and optimize how our product teams operate by supporting Product Leaders and Product Managers with analyses and process improvements
  • Collaborate on program and organization-wide goals, including OKRs and resourcing, to ensure we're driving toward results and set up for success
  • Facilitate the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure these metrics are tracked and reported consistently across teams

Individual Competencies:

  • Domain expertise in product management and operations for both incubating new product lines and managing/growing mature product lines
  • Goes beyond initial information and challenges assumptions, working to uncover the true use case, issue, or customer problem that needs to be solved
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills when determining how to best solve operational challenges, or when making business and product decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and manage trade-offs while maintaining alignment on business objectives
  • Experience implementing and managing Voice of the Customer programs focused on streamlining the customer feedback process that informs the product roadmap, unlocking more powerful customer understanding
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment within a larger enterprise
  • Strong understanding of how to bring a product to market, including product, pricing, packaging, positioning, competitive assessment, channel development, etc.
  • Strong communicator with both written and verbal skills for evangelizing product strategy and communicating product roadmaps both internally and externally
  • Build collaborative relationships, creating a culture of respect, trust, and teamwork
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on setting clear, aggressive, yet achievable goals and delivering on those goals via a culture of accountability
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully bring product releases to market and evaluating success post-launch

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in product operations, product management, and/or product-related program management
  • Experience driving strategic alignment efforts with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Experience with and understanding of the product development lifecycle for software organizations
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and implementing new processes
  • Desire and innate ability to collaborate, with a natural curiosity and growth mindset
  • Experience leading complex operational and change initiatives, and partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience leading the design / continuous improvement of processes for scale that help the organization meet its goals more efficiently and effectively
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a discipline for defining priorities, driving execution, and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven track record for delivering consistent results and measurable improvements in the product process
  • Proficient in key business tools (e.g. Google suite, Tableau, Salesforce) and experience implementing and managing product roadmap tools
  • Experience and confidence in facilitating, as well as presenting at, meetings and presentations with large audiences
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
