DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to market growth and product success while supporting our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you will develop and execute marketing strategies and programs, manage product launches, and create impactful content that connects with our scientific customers.
Working with cross-functional teams, you will analyze market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and identify opportunities to expand our market presence. You will serve as a key liaison between global marketing initiatives and regional implementation, ensuring our products and messaging effectively reach customers across diverse markets. Partnering with the Commercial and Digital teams, you will also provide support across direct marketing, web, events, and training. This position combines scientific expertise with marketing acumen to create meaningful impact in the life sciences industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience or Biology, plus 2 years of experience in product marketing or a related role within the life sciences industry; an MS is desirable
• Fresh graduates or candidates with limited work experience, who demonstrate a positive attitude and passion, will also be considered for the Product Marketing Specialist role
• Significant knowledge of and experience with life sciences, including related instrumentation and consumables
• Additional certifications in Marketing or Digital Marketing are beneficial
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Demonstrated expertise in market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Business-level English proficiency required
• Comfortable using design software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
