The Role
Who We Are

Maybern is transforming the way private fund managers effectively manage their funds through cutting edge technology. Maybern is founded by top engineering experts with deep knowledge of the fund management space.

Private funds manage $15T in capital and are growing at 20% YoY, but with increasing regulatory scrutiny and investor demands for transparency, the need for world class software to help private fund CFOs is crucial.

This is where Maybern comes in.

We are equipping fund managers with intuitive, flexible fund management software, enabling private investment managers to focus on what they do best: driving returns for their investors. We are backed by leading venture capital firms and a large number of strategic investors.

Maybern is an NYC based company with a strong in-office culture to drive collaboration, and we are looking to make strong additions to our team.

What We're Looking For

Maybern is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help bring our technically sophisticated products to market in a way that is simple, clear, and compelling to the enterprise and strategic market. You’ll play a central role in shaping how our Sales, CS, and Marketing teams communicate product value – with a particular focus on CFO, controller, and fund operations personas.

As our first dedicated PMM, you’ll own high-impact initiatives, partner closely with top-tier teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Ops, and contribute to building our go-to-market function from the ground up. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that combines go-to-market execution, messaging development, and enablement support.

What You'll Do

Product GTM & Launch Support

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to plan and execute go-to-market launches for new features and products. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely launch execution and adoption

  • Build and maintain core product marketing assets (decks, one-pagers, talk tracks, ROI calculators).

  • Support enablement for Sales and CS teams, delivering product narratives, launch overviews, and objection handling guides

  • Partner with Revenue and CS teams to understand key blockers and help address them through content or positioning

Positioning & Messaging

  • Own positioning and messaging for key product areas, buyer personas, and feature sets.

  • Work with Product and GTM stakeholders to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Conduct customer, competitive, and market research to inform messaging development

  • Develop internal GTM briefs, one-pagers, and internal FAQs to align cross-functional teams

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and deliver actionable insights to Sales and Product

  • Partner with Sales to synthesize patterns from recent losses and feed those insights into GTM content and product positioning

Who You Are
  • Technical Skill and Knowledge: You are an expert or are seeking to become an expert in your area and seek ways to improve your craft

  • Communication: You speak and write clearly and concisely, collaborate across functions effectively, and maintain open lines of communication

  • Navigating Ambiguity: You adapt and make informed decisions in situations of uncertainty or incomplete information, maintaining focus and progressing toward goals despite unclear circumstances

  • Delivery & Impact: You consistently produce high-quality work that drives measurable outcomes and meets or exceeds expectations

  • Results-oriented: You prioritize tasks, overcome obstacles, and ensure deliverables are met with quality and efficiency

This Could Be a Great Fit If You…
  • Have 4–6 years of experience in B2B product marketing at a SaaS company, ideally in fintech or infrastructure software

  • Show proven ability to translate complex products into compelling, customer-facing narratives

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and able to write crisp content and present confidently to cross-functional teams

  • Experience with enterprise or technical buyers (finance leaders, operations teams, or data-oriented personas)

  • Are a self-starter with excellent project management skills and able to execute in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Bonus: Experience in fintech, fund services, or selling into private markets / CFO functions

Benefits
  • We offer a competitive salary + equity package, comprehensive benefits, and a flexible family-friendly work environment. Some of our perks include:

    • Comprehensive healthcare benefits

      • Maybern covers 100% of medical premiums, with low-cost dental and vision plans

      • Health savings accounts, and more

    • Family-Friendly policies

      • Paid parental leave

    • Flexible schedule

      • Flexible PTO / sick leave

      • WFH as needed to fit your needs

    • 401k

Compensation Range: $130K - $150K

What We Do

Technology has revolutionized the operations of public markets. The improvement in capabilities has raised investor expectations and regulatory demands, but the private markets can’t keep up. Global private markets manage $15 trillion dollars. Despite its importance in the global economy, investment managers still run their operations on a patchwork of legacy software providers and manual spreadsheets, creating massive inefficiencies and operational risk. Maybern is changing that. By equipping fund managers with intuitive, flexible fund management software, Maybern is modernizing fund operations, making it more efficient, more accurate, and more seamless. In doing so, Maybern is enabling investment managers to spend more time doing what they do best: creating value for their investors.

Why Work With Us

At Maybern, you’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team building the operating system for modern fund finance. We value growth, curiosity, and ownership, giving every employee the chance to make a big impact. With a culture that’s supportive and ambitious, you’ll do meaningful work while building your career alongside smart, kind teammates.
