CDK helps dealers transform how they sell and service cars and operate their business through our open, integrated and customer-focused platform. The CDK Marketing team is looking for a creative, results-minded team member who can help us evangelize the value of our solutions and services through our dealers' eyes. We need the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Reference Program, to develop, curate, disseminate and grow a customer reference program for the whole of our CDK business.

As the leader for our reference program, you will work with leaders across CDK, collaborating with teams in corporate marketing, product marketing, sales, and service. You will blend high level, critical thinking with more tactical operational activities. You will be responsible for increasing our visibility, interactions, and market awareness across the automotive and heavy truck landscapes as we expand our solutions and services, as well as communicate our value to customers and grow our advocacy programs.

Through the reference program, our customers and prospects can better understand the power of our products and services and how they impact businesses. You will define program parameters, engage Customer Success, Consulting, Implementation and Sales in identifying reference candidates, make it simple, easy, fun and rewarding for our dealers to engage in the program, and ensure diversity of our base is represented in the program.

As you build out the program participation, you will also work with sales and marketing on utilization of our references using effective and programmatic methods. The definition of success in this role includes a well-defined program, strong customer participation and pervasive usage of references and customer evidence to impact our messaging and sales.

And we approach marketing in a way that makes the customer the priority, and the technology the enabler. The role of the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Reference Program enables us to illustrate the opportunity and value our services and solutions can provide our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a holistic customer reference and evidence strategy, and develop programs and opportunities for increased growth of the customer reference program.
  • Execute the day-to-day implementation of our customer reference program and serve as a key internal contact for customer reference program.
  • Identify and onboard new reference customers, manage and monitor customer reference activity, keeping data current, accurate, and up to date.
  • Engage with marketing, sales, product, service and executive teams, on a daily basis, regarding customer advocacy.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience and ease of participation in the program through day-to-day activities, and work as an advocate for our customers internally.
  • Find and support additional opportunities to enable and grow customer evidence and external voice of customer.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in marketing or a related technical field.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams or managing cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in customer reference marketing and/or product marketing
  • Experience with dealership management and/or ERP software solutions, including marketing products used in cloud or SaaS environments.
  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions quickly amidst multiple stakeholders, and experience working collaboratively across marketing teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituents (e.g., customers, sales, product teams, etc.).
  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
