Position Overview

Direct Travel is looking for an innovative, organized, and results-oriented Product Marketing Manager, Platform Marketing to own product launch communications and sales enablement across our travel technology ecosystem.

In this role, the PMM will own product launch communications and sales enablement initiatives across Direct Travel's technology ecosystem. A primary focus of the role will be managing monthly product release communications for the Avenir platform, supporting launch activities and messaging for key technology partners such as Spotnana, Juno, and Otto, and helping bring new ecosystem partnerships to market. The role will also provide ongoing market, competitor, and customer insights that help inform product positioning, launch planning, and sales readiness efforts.

We are looking for a collaborative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across Product, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing teams to drive awareness, adoption, and customer value. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in communicating the ongoing evolution of Direct Travel's technology platform, equipping customer-facing teams with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position our solutions, and helping the organization stay informed on market trends, competitive developments, and customer needs.


Responsibilities

Product Launches & Release Communications

  • Own and manage the monthly product release communications process for the Avenir platform, ensuring new features, enhancements, and product updates are effectively communicated to internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and execute launch plans and communication strategies for new product features, integrations, partner solutions, and ecosystem partnership announcements.
  • Coordinate launch readiness activities across Product, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing teams.
  • Support launch communications and positioning for Direct Travel's technology ecosystem, including partners such as Spotnana, Juno, Otto, and future partners.
  • Develop messaging and launch assets that clearly communicate customer value and business impact.
  • Track launch performance, engagement, and adoption metrics and recommend improvements to future launch and communication efforts.

Sales Enablement

  • Own the monthly product release enablement program, including planning, content development, and delivery of release communications for Sales and Account Management teams.
  • Lead recurring release readiness and enablement sessions to educate customer-facing teams on new product features, enhancements, integrations, and partner capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver enablement sessions supporting the introduction of new ecosystem partners and technology integrations.
  • Create and maintain sales enablement materials including presentations, release summaries, battlecards, FAQs, one-pagers, customer-facing collateral, and training resources.
  • Translate technical product capabilities and partner offerings into clear business benefits, use cases, and value propositions.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to identify enablement needs and ensure teams are equipped to confidently position Direct Travel's technology solutions.

Market, Competitor & Customer Intelligence

  • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Monitor developments across the business travel, travel technology, and corporate travel management landscape.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence resources and provide actionable insights to Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to help inform product and partner-related initiatives.
  • Support reporting and analysis tied to product launches, partner solutions, and market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, marketing, or a related B2B technology role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience owning or supporting product launches, release communications, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience creating and delivering sales enablement content, training, and internal communications.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence leading enablement sessions for sales and customer-facing teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively across Product, Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing.
  • Self-starter with a passion for technology, innovation, and customer experience.

  • Experience in SaaS, travel technology, fintech, platform-based solutions, or related technology industries.
  • Experience supporting product release programs, feature launches, or technology partnership announcements.
  • Familiarity with partner marketing, platform marketing, and ecosystem marketing concepts.
  • Knowledge of competitive intelligence tools, CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing technology solutions and digital platforms.
  • Understanding of the corporate travel, expense management, or travel technology landscape.
