Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, Platform (InSight Digital Experience Platform) to join our Digital Business Unit team.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecting the buyer-focused technical narrative, building our technical Go-To-Market strategy from the ground up, and defining the market category for our service, software, and Artificial Intelligence business model to establish industry leadership.
You will report to the Director of Product Marketing within the Digital Business Unit, collaborating closely with Product, Program Management, and Enablement teams to translate platform innovation into global market impact.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Platform Narrative & Market Leadership: Synthesize complex technical inputs into a high-impact, visionary story and theme-based roadmap, establishing platform authority and technical relevance with Information Technology leaders, architects, and security officers.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Sales Empowerment: Partner across cross-functional teams to orchestrate the Go-To-Market blueprint and independently deliver high-impact, outcome-oriented assets—including white papers, solution briefs, reference architectures, and implementation guides—to drive global customer awareness.
Analyst Influence & Category Perception: Proactively drive the strategy for industry analyst briefings, ensuring key market influencers understand our unique value proposition and successfully shaping the criteria used to evaluate the category.
Market & Buyer Intelligence: Own the definition of our ideal customer profile and buyer personas, synthesizing the unspoken needs of the enterprise buyer into high-impact messaging and strategic product feedback loops.
Stakeholder Empowerment: Ensure our global sales teams, systems integrators, and hyperscale cloud partners have high-fidelity technical content and reference architectures optimized for immediate commercial action.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
7–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Product Management, with a strong preference for experience working as a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for a Business-to-Business Software as a Service platform.
Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud architecture and the Information Technology ecosystem, with a proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into marketing strategies that drive global platform adoption.
Pioneer Mindset: A proven track record of building strategic narratives from the ground up and successfully navigating Go-To-Market approaches in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to tailor complex technical narratives for diverse audiences—from technical architects and sales teams to executive leaders—with a strict focus on clarity and field-readiness.
Analyst & Industry Exposure: Proven experience supporting or leading analyst briefings, with the professional fluency to navigate high-stakes technical inquiries and shape analyst perception.
