Senior Product Marketing Manager, Platform (InSight DXP)About Iron Mountain InSight DXP
At Iron Mountain, we believe information has power when it’s protected, connected, and activated. As the trusted steward for 95% of the Fortune 1000, we manage the information foundation of the global enterprise. This uniquely positions us to help our customers move
beyond simply storing their information to actually put it to work. In the age of AI, a company’s true competitive edge isn’t the models they use—it’s the proprietary data they already own. Iron Mountain InSight ® DXP is our cloud-agnostic, AI-first intelligent content platform built to turn
that data into a strategic advantage. While most enterprise data remains dark and untapped, our mission is to make unstructured content—from contracts and invoices to media and records—visible, accessible, and AI-ready.
Why Iron Mountain Needs You
Iron Mountain is seeking a transformational storyteller to redefine how our platform innovation is perceived by the global market. In this role, you will look across a vast landscape of technical capabilities to find the underlying story that connects our technology to the real-world success of
our customers. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing (Digital Business Unit), you will have the foundational opportunity to build our technical GTM strategy from the ground up. You will forge our platform modules and services into a unified, outcome-centric narrative that inspires our
customers and empowers our partners. We are looking for a change agent to establish InSight DXP as the benchmark for excellence in content intelligence.
The Opportunity
This is a pioneering role for a strategist ready to shape market categories. You will define the technical narrative for our unique service + software + AI business model. We are looking for a high-agency leader to redefine how our innovation is perceived and establish InSight DXP as
the undisputed authority in the market. We are looking for a candidate who understands enterprise cloud architecture and the IT ecosystem, and possesses the marketing skills to drive platform adoption. You will ensure that our IT buyers, global systems integrators, and hyperscale partners understand how InSight DXP automates complex workflows and improves decision-making across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
● Platform Narrative & Market Leadership: Architect the buyer-focused technical narrative for InSight DXP to define our market category and establish industry leadership. You will synthesize complex technical inputs into a high-impact, visionary story and theme-based roadmap that communicates our product vision and strategy to the market. Through strategic white papers and architecture narratives, you will establish platform authority and technical relevance with IT leaders, architects, and security officers.
● GTM Strategy & Sales Empowerment: Act as a strategic technical product marketing lead for platform launches, partnering with Product, Program Management, and Enablement teams to orchestrate the GTM blueprint. You will independently navigate technical roadmaps to architect and deliver a suite of high-impact, outcome-oriented assets—including white papers, solution briefs, reference architectures, implementation guides, website content—that drive global customer awareness and ensure commercial readiness across sales and partner channels.
● Analyst Influence & Category Perception: Proactively shape how the market defines our space. You will drive the strategy for industry analyst briefings, ensuring influencers understand our unique value and influencing the criteria used to evaluate the category.
● Market & Buyer Intelligence: Own the definition of our ideal customer profile and buyer personas to ensure value-first thinking is baked into the product roadmap. You will synthesize the unspoken needs of the enterprise buyer into high-impact messaging and strategic feedback loops that reflect the reality of the market.
● Stakeholder Empowerment: Ensure our global sales teams, systems integrators, and hyperscaler partners have high-fidelity technical content optimized for action. You will translate innovation into impact through reference architectures and strategic sales assets.
Measuring Success
● Sales Impact & Field Readiness: Increase win rates in competitive bake-offs by delivering high-fidelity technical evidence that empowers the field to articulate platform value and reduces sales friction
● Narrative Authority & Awareness: Drive broader customer awareness and engagement among IT leaders through high-impact, strategic storytelling and technical thought leadership
● Analyst & Market Placement: Improved placement and representation of our technical capabilities within key industry reports to establish category leadership
● Share of Voice: Improved discoverability and authority of our technical product information across professional search and AI discovery tools
Qualifications
● Experience: 7–10+ years in Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, or Product Management. Experience as a Technical Product Marketing Manager for a B2B SaaS platform is highly preferred
● Pioneer Mindset: A "build from the ground up" mentality with a track record of creating strategic narratives and driving GTM approaches in fast-paced, matrixed environments
● Technical & Commercial Fluency: Deep understanding of enterprise cloud architecture and the IT ecosystem, with the proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into marketing strategies that drive global platform adoption
● Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to tailor technical narratives for diverse audiences—from architects and sales teams to executives—with a focus on clarity and field-readiness
