As Senior Product Manager you will report into the Senior Marketing Director and will work closely across the entire North American Building Care platform for all sectors. You are responsible for all product marketing needs of the portfolio, creating a value proposition for each sector including portfolio rationalization and optimization; product improvement and development; P&L of assigned portfolio; and downstream marketing to support sales efforts. You will support a growing portfolio of foodservice and laundry products and support a number of market segments.
As Senior Product Manager you will partner with internal stakeholders like R&D, Supply Chain and Finance to optimize the product portfolio and additionally interface with the Business Units’ Sales and Marketing professionals to drive product sales and determine strategic direction of the portfolio.
Externally, you will partner with professional organizations, engage equipment manufacturers, product development and market research agencies to build an innovative portfolio for today and tomorrow’s business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with sector and portfolio teams to develop a strong value proposition and product line marketing strategy for Diversey’s Building Care and Floor Care portfolios, while contributing to broader platform and portfolio strategies and roadmaps. Lead the overall portfolio strategy for North America Building Care by expanding current offerings and identifying adjacent growth opportunities.
- Own product portfolio performance and lifecycle management, including analyzing key metrics, interpreting market trends, and developing actionable recommendations to drive growth and profitability. Manage product line maintenance and simplification initiatives, prioritizing regional needs in collaboration with Platform and R&D teams, while overseeing multiple complex development projects alongside existing portfolio support.
- Drive innovation by leading world-class product launches and capturing Voice of Customer (VOC) insights across North America, translating them into business cases and feeding into the innovation funnel via Central Marketing. Maintain a deep understanding of the Building Care market by sector, including competitive positioning, emerging trends, and unmet customer needs.
- Ensure clear, consistent, and compelling product messaging by updating all internal and external online resources. Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, value chain, finance, and regulatory, to execute projects and support product line activities effectively.
- Support commercial success by partnering with sales and sector marketing teams to develop customer proposals, sales presentations, and program implementations. Collaborate with sector leaders to refine and optimize the portfolio value proposition for different markets and ensure compatibility and effectiveness of products with equipment in the marketplace.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or sufficient related work experience
- 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, building websites and analytics would be highly recommended for this role
- Requires strong communication and presentation skills, financial acumen, project management and leadership skills
- Understanding of the EPA registration process for sanitizers
- Ability to work cross functionally with teams to balance solutions in accordance with budget, schedule and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail

The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,690.00 and $181,412.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.Skills Required
