Atera is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background to join and lead one of our squads in the IT Service Management (ITSM) domain
The ITSM domain is a core pillar of Atera’s all-in-one IT management platform. It enables MSPs and IT teams to manage ticketing, billing, contracts, SLAs, reporting, and automation workflows in a single unified system. This team plays a strategic role in driving operational efficiency and automation for thousands of IT professionals worldwide.
As a Product Manager in this team, you will shape the future of this critical product area and drive meaningful impact for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional squad including developers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand market trends, user needs, and the competitive landscape, and inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Define and prioritize product requirements based on user feedback, data analysis, and internal stakeholder input.
- Own the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, ensuring product success and adoption.
- Work closely with engineering, design, product analysts, customer success, marketing, and research teams.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a technical SaaS product environment.
- Strong technical background and deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- Background as an R&D engineer or in equivalent technical roles.
- Familiarity with AI-driven products, automation technologies, or a strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance product capabilities.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable product requirements.
- Knowledge of IT service management systems and processes – a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
