Role Summary
Senior US ACH expert within the product team, operating as a regional lead for the US market. Acts as the single point of contact (SPOC) for ACH across customers, sales, implementation, and marketing, driving client, project team engagements, defining requirement. Bridges market needs and product strategy by influencing roadmap, features, and positioning based on direct customer and regional insights.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Sr Product Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Act as US regional ACH lead within the product team and SPOC for customers, sales, marketing, and implementation
Engage with clients and prospects to capture market needs, pain points, and gaps in ACH processing
Translate insights into clear product requirements, and documentation
Drive alignment between market demand and product roadmap/prioritization
Partner with Sales and Marketing for demos, RFP inputs, and positioning of ACH capabilities
Provide domain expertise (NACHA, ACH lifecycle) in client and internal discussions
Continuously gather competitive intelligence and market trends to influence product strategy
Work closely with product teams to refine features and validate requirements
Support implementation teams with clarifications, requirement walkthroughs, and business guidance
Gain a deep understanding of the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow marketshare, and drive growth.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning through go-to-market.
Identifies product market opportunities through market research, customer profiling, needs analysis, market sizing and competitive analysis.
Serves as the key contact for product questions and new product ideas which surface from customers, sales, or market research.
Identifies and analyzes critical issues related to the product design and promotion of the product(s).
Translates product strategy into recommendations and feature definition to address market opportunities.
Provides overall direction for product enhancements and general product development requirements.
Works with product marketing department to develop effective communication activities and programs including product positioning and collateral development
Lead product focus groups
Lead user conference sessions and general industry topics.
Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current project status.
Manages the resolution of escalated customer problems. Escalates problems and issues to other departments when needed.
Develops proper and thorough documentation (internal and external) describing enhancements as appropriate.
Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for Product Management processes.
Vendor Management including maintaining a directory of vendors with contact information and other pertinent data as well as analyzing potential future partner relationships.
Required Experience:
8+ years of experience as a US ACH expert in a market-facing or product role
Deep expertise in NACHA rules, ACH lifecycle, formats, returns, and settlement
Proven experience in owning requirement definition for ACH products in a live market
Strong background in client engagement and working with sales, marketing, and product teams
Demonstrated ability to translate market needs into product features, user stories, and documentation
Experience influencing product roadmap and feature prioritization
Strong understanding of banking ecosystem (ODFI, RDFI, payment hubs)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
