The Associate Product Manager will work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and domain experts to define, refine, and deliver features across Digantara’s Space Situational Awareness platform. This role focuses on translating user needs and operational requirements into structured product requirements that enable efficient development and delivery.

Ideal Candidate
  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role.

  • Strong ability to translate complex requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.

  • Naturally curious, analytical, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to break down requirements into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Conduct and document user research sessions with operators and domain experts.

  • Identify ambiguities, edge cases, and gaps in feature requirements before development begins.

  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with engineering and design teams.

  • Support sprint planning activities by ensuring stories are development-ready.

  • Create and maintain product documentation including specifications, workflows, and release notes.

  • Participate in acceptance testing to validate delivered functionality against requirements.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the space domain, including orbital mechanics, space object tracking, conjunction analysis, and sensor networks.

Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related functions.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to structure complex requirements clearly.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to translate incomplete or evolving requirements into actionable specifications.

  • Interest in understanding technical products and complex operational workflows.

Preferred Qualities
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Background in aerospace, defense, geospatial, or engineering-focused environments.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-6 years in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, sprint planning, and modern PM tools
